Lapierre Pro Race SAT 6.9

The 2021 Lapierre Pro Race utilises SAT (Shock Absorption Technology) which has been taken directly from the Pulsium, our top-of-the-range endurance racer, and added to the Pro Race for the most demanding terrain and for riding comfort.

Thanks to its patented elastomer system, the rear triangle absorbs vibration and optimises grip on the technical parts. This gives a feeling of unbeatable comfort, begging you to clock up some miles, safe in the knowledge that your body won’t suffer for it.

There’s no need to choose between comfort and stiffness. The specific geometry is uncompromisingly designed with XC in mind. When the ground is clear and smooth, this new Pro Race activates an out-and-out hardtail mode. And, when you’re sat down, it cuts out lots of vibration and cushions bumps. The front end responds quickly but precisely and remains stable as soon as the speed picks up.
